新・森町誕生!
羽田・大阪・名古屋・福岡発の旭山動物園満喫ツアー満載!! 激安ツアーが勢ぞろい！北海道の年末年始特集「札幌激安ツアー」を紹介。本日4月1日は、平成の市町村大合併における北海道2番目、森町と砂原町の合併の日。昨年12月1日の新・函館市以来の合併となり、そして同じく道南・渡島支庁の合併で、新町誕生では道内初、新設合併(対等合併)でも道内初です。
新庁舎は合併前の森町役場、新町名は合併前の森町から「森町」となり、相変わらず北海道の町では唯一「まち」と読ませる町です。対等合併といっても新庁舎位置も新町名も旧森町。まるで吸収合併のようです。新しくなった森町オフィシャルサイトはこちら。
これにより、北海道の市町村数は208から1つ減って「全207市町村」になります。また、渡島支庁の市町も13から1つ減って全12市町になります。ということなので、当サイト「北海道雑学百科-プッチガイド208円」は「北海道雑学百科-プッチガイド207円」と改称されます。今後も市町村合併によってサイト名が変更になりますのでご注意を(理由も無くあえてそうしてます笑)。
